April Walker is a filmmaker, director and cinematographer working across documentary, factual television, branded content and podcast production.

Her work is rooted in people, culture and stories that are often overlooked, with projects filmed across the UK and internationally. She has worked with organisations and platforms including Channel 4, E4, Prime Video, Vogue, Vice, Accenture and Boiler Room.

Moving between directing, cinematography, production and editing, April brings creative vision and practical experience to every stage of a project. Her credits include producing Race for the Future, working as DV Director on E4’s The Real Dirty Dancing, and creating films that explore identity, culture, climate and social change.
